FAQs

Cakes can sometimes be a tricky thing, but theres no need to fear! Below is some information to help you when ordering, storing and keeping your cake fresh and beautiful!

  • HOW DO I STORE MY CAKE?
Cakes should be stored in the refrigerator. This will help the cake stay fresh and keep the components in place. When ready to serve, remove cake from the fridge and allow to come to room temp. for approximately 1 hr.  Cake is best served at room temp.

  • ARE THE FLOWERS EDIBLE?
Not all flowers used are edible. It is recommended that you remove all flowers from your cake before consuming. Steps are taken to keep cakes safe when in contact with flowers. Please remember that flowers used are for aesthetic purposes only.

  • WILL YOU RECREATE MY REFERENCE PHOTO?
I will not directly copy another bakers work. While I'm more than happy to draw inspiration from pictures and mood boards to understand your vision, I want to emphasize that I will not replicate another baker's work. Instead, I encourage you to trust in my expertise and allow me to craft a one-of-a-kind cake.❤️

  • DO YOU DO CUSTOM DESIGNS AND FLAVORS?
Yes and no. With custom orders there are some limitations. As mentioned above I will not directly copy another bakers work. Custom orders allow for you to have more control over design and flavor, but it still has to be in the realm of Jaimes Bakes. I won't do a fully fondant covered cake, or a super hero themed cake, etc. I want you to be able to have the cake of your dreams while still being proud and excited by the work I'm putting out. Together, we can craft a cake that reflects your vision and showcases the unique craftsmanship of Jaimes Bakes.
